Creativity Research
R.B. Fitzroy (referred to as Rene Brauer in academia) is a also PhD researcher at the University of Technology Sydney, Australia, and Maastricht University, The Netherlands.
His research focus is on how to foster creativity, how to effectively cope with psychological blocks, barriers, and tensions in the creative process, and how to engage in constructive creative habits.
The current global creator study takes R.B. Fitzroy around the world, from Sydney and Cape Town to New York City, Los Angeles, and Silicon Valley to interview and observe high-level creators from across different disciplines. The goal of his data collection is to uncover common creative process patterns, and to help budding artists to unleash their creative potential.
